This farmhouse needed to balance both expectations — a desire for a traditional farmhouse but with a modern twist. The architecture is simple – framing the landscape in all its beauty, and allowing every room a spectacular view.

The house is full of pleasing juxtapositions; the black monolithic ironwork, rich wood veneers, earthy linens, and natural stones. Much of the material selection is inspired by the site’s surroundings.
